The British Dal Festival planned for 21-31 March is POSTPONED due to coronavirus
The Dal Trail and St Nick’s Night Market will not go ahead as planned but will be back as soon as it’s safe to do so.
We dearly hoped that things would improve but it’s just not possible or responsible to continue.
In the meantime, look after each other and eat plenty of dal.
The British Dal Festival will offer opportunities for everyone to get involved in cooking, sharing and enjoying dal and pulses.
Throughout the festival eateries around the country will be serving up signature dals and pulse dishes on our nationwide Dal Trail. Look out for listings here soon. Restaurants, cafes and other eateries, and retailers too this year, across the UK are invited to take part – sign up to register your interest.
Bristol’s celebrated St Nick’s Night Market will be running a special Dal Edition with street food stalls, cookery demos and traders selling ingredients and accompaniments for dal. If you use pulses to produce delicious street food or sell pulses or other dal ingredients and would like to trade at the Night Market please sign up to register your interest.
